I was born and raised in Paris. I discovered my innate artistic flair at a young age, inspired by the beauty of my city. I studied History of Art before beginning my career as a graphic designer. It wasn’t long before I realised my passion for makeup artistry. I moved to London to pursue my vocation, working freelance in the fashion and film industries. It was here that I chance-met Terry de Gunzburg, the founder of luxury cosmetics, skincare & fragrance brand BY TERRY. We both instantly connect over our love of the beauty industry.

Terry de Gunzburg took me under her wing and passed on all of her invaluable experience, technical skills and expertise. I travelled the globe as the Head of Artistry for BY TERRY. This gave me the chance to meet the most valuable people in the industry and express my creativity throughout the brand. 

 

As young as 13, I recognised the transformative power of colour on a persons face when my mother refused to let me wear black mascara. Never one to play by the rules, I wore blue mascara instead, which to my surprise my mother permitted. From that moment on, I realised that makeup can be fun and playful, as well as a powerful tool for women to express themselves.

 

Now as a working mother, I understand the importance of makeup in a woman’s everyday life and how it should be easy-to-use and accessible. My philosophy is that a woman should never be afraid to experiment and be bold. I have worked with some of the most powerful female figures in the industry, from renewed beauty influencers Lydia Millen, Estée Lalonde and Hélène Legastelois to famed makeup artists. From Patrick Ta to Lora Arellano and Claire Marshall, I count myself fortunate to be recognised and respected by such talented artists.
